The Central Otago night skies are unique and relatively unspoiled
To protect this for future generations, Winterstellar is intending to prepare an application for International Dark Sky Reserve status for a large area of Central Otago.
We expect this will take some time, but there is no time like the present for the Central Otago community to review how their outdoor lighting might impact the quality of our night skies.
