About this short film

Since 2020 we have included video installations at Winterstellar exhibitions featuring some of the excellent time-lapse videography produced by the amazing Winterstellar artists.

For 2024 we were excited to be working with Alexandra musician Liz Conway to produce an original soundtrack for our video production.

This stunning film captures the unique night skies in many special locations:

Central Otago including Alexandra, Wederburn, St Bathans, Becks, Bendigo, Cromwell & Poolburn
Canterbury including Aoraki/Mt Cook, Tekapo, Tasman Lake, & Akaroa/Banks Peninsular
Dunedin region including Otago Peninsula, Mt Cargill, Taieri Gorge, Hindon & Moeraki
Catlins and Southland regions including Nugget Point Lighthouse & Waipapa Lighthouse
