Dream Night – Dilanka Wijesekara

Nugget Point is an iconic panoramic platform on the Catlins coast with one of the country’s oldest lighthouses. This is a pretty famous spot among the landscape Astrophotographers, due to the darkest sky and significant geographical locations of famous nuggets named by Captain Cook because they looked like pieces of gold. If you want to frame those notable nuggets in one picture with a lighthouse and spark Milky way core rising, you need to climb uphill on the rocky pathway where it is signed as dangerous for rock falling. However, it is worth enough once you generate this fantastic shot.
